Our lawful basis
The lawful basis for using your information depends on the activity. It may include consent, contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests, vital interests where genuinely applicable, or other bases provided by UK data protection law.
We do not claim that a single lawful basis covers everything we do.
Children's information
Uplift Me supports children and families, so we take additional care when processing information relating to children.
Where appropriate, we collect information from a parent, guardian, authorised professional or another appropriate responsible adult. We do not collect unnecessary information directly from children.

Card payment information is processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. Uplift Me does not store full payment card details in its own systems.

You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you remain unhappy with how your information has been handled. We would welcome the chance to put things right first.
International transfers
Some of our providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we use appropriate protections where required by law, such as international data transfer arrangements.
