About us

A little help can create a big uplift.

The Uplift Me Foundation connects children and families who need practical support with the products, resources and goodwill that already exist all around them.

Our story

We believe every child deserves the practical support they need to thrive.

Uplift Me exists to help children and families access the practical things that can make a meaningful difference to comfort, independence, safety, opportunity, wellbeing and everyday quality of life.

Sometimes that means specialist equipment for a disabled child. Mobility and accessibility products. Sensory equipment. Safe-sleeping and bedroom equipment. Sometimes it means baby equipment, children's furniture, household essentials, white goods or furniture. Always practical support that helps a family's everyday life work better.

The other side of the model: across our communities, businesses and organisations there are useful products, resources, funding, expertise, time, logistics capability and people willing to help.

Uplift Me exists to connect those two worlds.

Practical support. Greater independence. Better everyday lives.

Our mission

To give useful items a second life while giving families a helping hand when they need it most.

We work with businesses, hotels, property operators, manufacturers, retailers, councils and the community to redirect good-quality furniture, household items and practical equipment towards the children and families who genuinely need them, creating a circular model that supports families and reduces waste.

Our values

What guides us.

Dignity

We preserve dignity in everything we do. Support, not charity that diminishes.

Resourcefulness

We see value where others see waste, and give good things another life.

Community

Stronger local communities built on practical, human help.

Trust

Transparent, well-governed and accountable in everything we do.

Governance

A registered Scottish foundation.

The Uplift Me Foundation is registered in Scotland, governed by its trustees with strong governance, transparency and safeguarding at its core.
