Family experiences

Support is not only about equipment.

Sometimes what a family needs most is a break, a memory, or a day where a brother or sister gets to be the centre of attention.

Two dedicated programmes

Small moments can create a very big uplift.

These programmes are designed around families living with disability. Nominations are private, free to make and reviewed with care. Availability depends on suitable experiences, partners and funding.

A proper break, without the practical barriers

Accessible family breaks

Families caring for a disabled child can be nominated for fully accessible breaks in places equipped around real mobility, sensory and practical needs. There is no paid entry. Eligible nominations may be considered in periodic Foundation selections or free draws as suitable breaks become available.

For the brothers and sisters who give so much too

Sibling days out

Brothers and sisters of disabled children can carry a lot quietly. Our sibling days out are designed to give them time that is simply theirs: fun, attention, new experiences and the chance to feel recognised.

Private nomination

Nominate someone for an Uplift experience.

Keep this minimal - no full child details are needed at this stage.

Only tell us what is needed to plan an accessible break. Please do not include unnecessary medical information.
